Feds Award $15M for New Cutting-edge Research Center to Study Pacific NW Earthquakes | GeekWire

The National Science Foundation announced the creation of the Cascadia Region Earthquake Science Center. The $15 million facility will be based at the University of Oregon and the UW will be a lead partner. Harold Tobin, director of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network and professor of earth and space sciences at the UW, is quoted.
