An earthquake measured at 3.8 in magnitude woke a lot of people up at 3:17 a.m. The earthquake was felt by hundreds of people all across western Washington. Harold Tobin, director of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network and professor of Earth and space sciences at the UW, is quoted.
